    need more information. is it a wood stock or syn? does the bolt work smooth without a round in chamber?

    Wooden stocked medallion. the problem is when you try to lift the bolt up after it is fired and yes, it is still somewhat stiff when just working the bolt on an empty chamber, more so than any other rifle I have ever encountered.

    all the wsm cartidges are 'loaded to the max', I have seen factory chambered rifles firing factory ammo showing high pressure signs. I'll guess this is 'normal' untill you get a few rounds fired to break the rifle in.

    I had the same problem and found that the internal bolt parts lacked lubricant (gun oil).
    I also used a dab of gun grease on the slide and it seems to be doing the trick.
    I have noticed with it that racking a round needs to be done slow and smooth or it jams.

    As far as accurate , it's dead on each and every time at 100 yds., even with factory loads.
