Winchester Model 94 30-30
My cousin Tommy died three years ago of a heart attack at my cabin. Worst day of my life. Anyway, I stopped to see his wife for Christmas yesterday. She said I have a gift for you. She hands me my cousins Winchester 94 30-30 and said, Tommy would have wanted you to have it. I didn't take it for myself. I told her I will hold it until his Grandson turns of age and starts to hunt with us. I put it in my safe for safe keeping. My cousin had one daughter, and she doesn't want it. She also gave me his S&W 41 mag with an 8 3/8 barrel, that we bought at the same time back in 1994. That is also going in my safe for his grandson. If his grandson decides he doesn't want these guns, I will give them to my son Chris. It was a special day just seeing this rifle again. It has a black diamond on the stock. I have no idea if it came from the factory that way, or if someone inlayed it??? We called it the black diamond of death, LOL. He killed a lot of deer in PA with this rifle. Oak
