THE LAST GARAND, Mark Christian, PLUS his 36 year Collection of GCA Newsletters
This is just so special. I cannot stress how much this particular auction means to me.
The rifle is nice, but the amount of time and care that Mark spent collecting these newsletters makes them the real gem of this listing. The Garand Collectors Association newsletters are a wealth of information. Each issue is very informative. The later newsletters are "journals" with amazing pictures, more like a magazine than a newsletter. They are HEFTY….five large binders filled with history and information about the M1.
The binders are filled, each having several years of the GCA newsletters ….in protective sleeves…in order by year. The first year is 1986…..the last is 2022 (the year Mark passed.)
I truly hope one of you end up owning this one.
There are a couple more long guns here to get listed….but this is the FINAL M1 Garand.

Information is incredible … I met The Medal of Honor man himself in Elkhart Indiana when he visited his niece and son in law who were good neighbors.
