Living in New York I think I'll wait until the wife retires and we move. I would really like a 9mm carbine.

My first will be a new edc . Leaning towards a CZ . Maybe a 75 compact.Later on a Browning hi-power or good clone. Lever action 22 and a good SxS in 20 or 16 gauge

For the folks in Washington State. Should've bought your ammo before 2025.

If I run across one of the CVA Scouts in 444 I may have to pick it up

I listed the one I want. Having said that, this will be the year I start selling off part of my collection.

The one I have in 44 mag shoots great. Hopefully I'll be able to get the 35 Whelen Scout to the range in the next couple weeks

I do not have anything in mind so far for 2025. I do have a list of upgrades for a couple hunting rifles in terms of new optics. May add a red dot sight to a carry gun too as I think about it.

Like Oakie, I am considering letting a few go this year.

My small collection, what was saved from the boating accident, will be parceled out to family members . Several will go to extended families children to maintain ownership within the family. Stepson and stepdaughter will get a few . Several just need to be sold

I've had a .444 Marlin lever in both 18.5" and one of their XLR 24" and they shoot great. The cartridge looks like two .44 mag casings stacked on top of one another. I generally prefer to shoot my .45-70's, just because they are easy to load up and down for, but I've had the .444 Marlin since ~96 so it was one of my first big bore levers so it holds a special place in my heart. I also have a .450 Marlin which is about 250 fps faster than the faster 45-70 factory loads. I'm a bit of a sucker for big bores, especially in this mid-power market. I've got boomers too like .416 Rem. Mag and .458 Win Mag but those rarely get shot due to the expense and pounding. They are my "for the heck of it" rounds.

There will always be just one more I want.

But reality is getting older. (We all know that sucks ) . I need to start giving what few I have to my sons and have them save one or two for the grand kids and maybe sell a couple they have no interest in

I have most of the guns that I want, so I think I'm going to use 2025 to stock up on ammo.

    Happy New Year everyone.

I keep thinking I have all the ones I want, and then something else surfaces. Older semi-autos from the '80s and '90s mainly.

As I fill previous years wish lists, I find new things I want and add them to my list. Of course I have had many high dollar items that have been on there for years that will likely be on there for years to come.

I've slowed down my purchases and have started selling some of my older less used items to make room for new stuff. My main focus starting in 2025 will be starting my WWII arms collection (Luger P08, M1a1 Garand, M1 carbine, 1903a3 Springfield, K98 Mauser, SVT-40, Walther P38, etc. and eventually some full-auto stuff when I have a place to shoot them.

I still have a few 10mm's on my list as well as some more mint 3rd gen S&W series in various calibers. I am going to try a few 5.7x28's as well and/or a TC
