Best friend left me in tears.
My friend Jim stopped to see me over Thanksgiving from Alabama. He stayed for five days, and we got to spend some quality time together reminiscing. Before he left, I gave him half a case of 40s and half a case of 22lr, that he loves to shoot. He left on a Friday and called me Saturday. He told me to look under the guest bedroom bed, that he left me a Christmas gift. I was going to unwrap it on Christmas morning but……. LOL. I opened it last night. It is a Colt Python, made in 1974 and was his fathers. He left me a card that said, my father would have wanted you to have this. I cried for about two hours last night. I will cherish this revolver forever. It is so pristine, I'm afraid to shoot it, but I know I will. We talked through tears this morning. I'm absolutely floored by my friends love for me. My friend is a rifle and semi auto gun nut, but never like revolvers. His father would take us to the dump in town when we were kids, to shoot rats with our 22 rifles. One of the best gifts I ever received because it is so special to me. Oak

Sale from almost all my 37 Winchesters (way over 100, I suppose) will go to the rifle team at West Point and West Virginia.
