    Growing up near Charleston Air Force Base in the 60s there was a man in our neighborhood who worked on base that knew lots of the pilots who flew the Air Force M A T S cargo planes going in and out of Spain. He would come home with beautiful Spanish made guns. He had a couple AYA side by sides. Also a beautiful little LLAMA 1911 22rimfire auto. l married his daughter and he gifted me with an ASTRA FireCat 25acp to keep her safe. This was before the 68GCA. l remember him telling me the LLAMA 1911 22rf was $17. He taught me to reload and cast boolits. Sad to say he is GONE. His daughter is too. Not so sad😏
