So high school freshman granddaughter
Wrestles varsity. They had a tournament last night and she lost. She was the only g1irl on either team.
Tonight's tournament of all girls, she took first place.

My son says he doesn't worry whole lot about the girls, both of thier boyfriends are afraid of thier big brother, and aside each of the girls can beat up their boyfriends themselves.

Mountain gurls are tough. My daughter has her jump wings and two of my grand daughters are law enforcement. One is a Sgt. and the other a K-9 officer. And don't get me started on my wife!!!

Congrats to her! My younger grandson heads with his team to the state middle school wrestling tournament today. It's uncertain if he will get to be in any matches, as he has been down with a bad case of the flu all week (think 103+ fever). However he's excited just to be there. This is the first year he's done any sport other than basketball and baseball.

Update. My grandson's wrestling team won their 1st ever state championship, but, as I expected, he wasn't allowed to wrestle due to having flu too recently. He was excited to just be with his team and cheer them on.

Too bad he couldn't wrestle, we too have had same thing happen. I Admire and proud of his team support and sportsmanship. Congratulations to the team.
