Covid and weird symptom
Had a runny nose, slight cough on Wednesday, woke up yesterday with a fever of 100.5. Normal temp for me is 97.5. Decided to test myself since I had Bible study and didn't want to risk anyone being exposed.
Test was positive for Covid. The weird symptom I'm having is a major case of the burps. Been taking zinc and D3 for about a week since it's now winter virus season. Appears it has been beneficial.
Fever free today, no runny nose and just a slight cough. Still have a major case of the burps. I googled it. Apparently it's a thing.

I finally caught it for the first time a couple months back. It was just a mild flu to me along with no appetite. My skin also itched like crazy. The weird symptoms started a couple of days after I was feeling better. I had hives for the first time in my adult life. Only on my hands and feet though. Raised red rashes, with weakness and random moderate pain. Just in my hands and feet. The rash was gone after a few days, but I am still dealing with the pain and weakness. It is considerably better now, just not 100%

We had Covid in August and I went through the burping thing... I just thought it had to do with my surgery. 😳🤯

Most of our imidenant family for the last week or two have been sharing a similar bug
Wife went urgent care last Monday our regular doc office booked up to early January.
She has a sore throat feeling worn down and coughing non stop they told her it's going around big time and seeing a lot of it
gave her some meds thestanard party pack of low dose antibiotics and cough meds
now my turn last few days I have developed the same symptoms oh joy
Don't think it's covid but so many varations who knows
We have had covid before never fun
But none of us ever took the "shots " we decided odds were the cure, would kill us before covid ever did
As for vitamins, , my wife has us taking so many. Since we got older it was like she was on mision . I am not even sure which ones , take your pick from A to Z and all in-between
Anyway, i rambled on too much
take care of your self and hope you get to feeling better soon

My wife brought it to me in October, and we both took a full course of Paxlovid. That stuff brings on a strong bitter/metallic taste that lingers for days after you stop taking it. It hit me hard, but left after several days - she tested positive for nearly 2 weeks.

Zinc and D3 are good. Quercetin is also beneficial. I bought it at the local grocery sore.

Thanks for the well wishes. After the one day of fever, I'm back to my normal self. Cleaned house yesterday, did laundry, fed chickens and goats. I rarely get sick and when I do catch a bug it's usually just a day or two of down time.
