Cornbread and college football
The baking goodies thread inspired me to bake some homemade cornbread to go with the ham and beans I'm having tonight. Going to be eating good while I watch football tonight.
First game of the CFP series. Who you got? Indiana or Notre Dame? I don't have a dog in the fight so I'm just watching for the entertainment value. Hoping it's a good, close game unlike the Florida / Tulane game that just wrapped up.

Hey, I liked the "ham and muthas" in Vietnam, so you know I'm in for yours. And double down on the cornbread.
My late FIL played for ND under Rockne, believe it or not. So that's one of my "root for" teams. They did well last night.

I've got mascapone in the fridge. Going to give it a try on the cornbread along with some elderberry jelly.
