Overboard, in Illinois in a CASINO they run you through a detector to even get in, no firearms allowed. imo only/

Course in Illinois the sham government want you to really not have concealed but we got it through.

Open carry has been legal in Virginia since before concealed carry. Once in a while we'll see someone with a small semi automatic on their side. It doesn't seem to cause alarm.

I'd rather see someone open carry the eating with his hat on. That irks me.

I am just glad we still have states that support our rights

We have the same rights here in Ohio and I see people open carry more , each time we go out but their easy to spot LOL

No double barrel hammer type shotgun, Bear spray and Bandolier in his arsenal?

Adds new meaning to the term "Puttin on the dog"

As a country boy, Them types do not really impress me.

Open carry causes all Karens to use social media here. Our last election had us 58% republican we are slipping.

I don't give two hoots and a hooey about his sidearm, but real cowboys take their hat off when they come inside, let alone at the dinner table.

I see guys in restaurants wearing their veterans caps. What was one of the first things you learned in boot camp? Uncover while inside.

Illinois never did come up with a permit system for non Illinois residents… I remember that was a big thing when the CCW regs went in about the time I left… Sorry you are still there..

There are a couple fellows like that in my neck of the woods….. For the most part folks sort of laugh at them.. I have no issue with someone open carrying but with the exception of when I am hunting, I would never do it..

…if that guy walked in most places around here people would be snickering & laughing…just another Rex-All Ranger (drugstore cowboy)…. I carry & have carried a Colt Commander in a Galco holster, strong side right hip for decades with a T-shirt tail covering it, mostly… I have always kept my carry gun concealed even though open carry is legal, and 99% of the people could care less if you're carrying…no need to advertise, that, could get you killed…

Don’t know about Nevada or this guy, but in are house he would remove his hat at the dinner table to eat, that’s just proper etiquette.

Well, there are cowboys, and there are COWBOYS.

As in, back in the day, we had truck drivers; and then we had COWBOYS.😉

Having lunch at the Atlantis Casino today there was a fellow dressed in Levis, a vest and cowboy hat, which he never took off when eating, a rule of mine incidentally. On his hip for all to see was a Ruger Blackhawk in a leather cross draw holster. Oh his right side was a large Bowie type knife in a 12 inch sheath. I know Nv. is an open carry state, but I thought this a bit of overindulgence since we were at the buffet and he got up 4-5 times to refill his plate. The place was quite crowded and boy did he ever get the attention of the other patrons. I believe he was grand standing and should have been more discreet. He did have a female guest with him, possibly trying to impress her with his machoism??? Also, in an altercation if I were the bad guy he would be the first one I would neutralize. And I would have another firearm untraceable to me. I had my trusty NAA 5 shooter well concealed in my front pocket and I didn't draw one bit of attention.

Plus +++++ alot on the NAA 5 shooter.

If I were silly enough to open carry I'd sling an AK pistol (braceless). I'd prefer my Genesis Arms Gen12 but she is heavy. Then couple of spare 10 round magazines with buck shots one would need a backpack. Glad I live in California where I get to leave it to others to "have" safety.
