    Fireplace and stove paint. Made just for this purpose. Most hardware stores should have it.

    Rust- Oleum makes what they call BBQ & Stove paint. It’s a spray on paint that is suppose to be good to 1200° F. I’ve heard of people using it to paint stainless steel barrels on their rifles, it’s flat black.

    That is what I used on an older gas BBQ and it held up great for 5 or so years until I upgraded to a newer one. I wore out everything else on the old one but the paint still looked great. Bob

    I used this when I refreshed the doors on my wood stove insert. Worked great.
