We are doing ok.... It's blowing pretty good. Gale Force. Our house and our little ranch are close to the ocean so the wind just blows straight off of it. Loleta just sits a little above sea level and 3 miles from the ocean and when it blows it blows same out on the ranch...

I'm okay here in the Monterey Bay thanks for asking. Sarcasm.

For once, we didn't lose power last night. Just soggy as usual.

Well this morning I got a call from my dad that we had an small emergency at the ranch.... Part of the older horse house roof and blown on to the neighbors fence. So we had a board meeting on the phone talking about who would have the right equipment to help us… My dad's old boss came through and sent one of his guys out with an excavator. Dad laughed and told Dennis that the real emergency wasn't that the roof blew off it was that it was on Terry's fence 😳🤯

    All's well that ends well.

Glad you got help and got that taken care of. Will you be able to get help to replace the roof?

The old part kind of collapsed so it won't be rebuilt.... We have a whole new row of new stalls and only 2 horses now 😞

Just a light rain here in the Lassen. BTW we were the reddest county in the state of Jefferson. 74%!

They are closing Fern Bridge at 3 am .... Calling for flooding at high tide.

That doesn't sound good. Best wishes for all in its path.

It's calm now but the river is supposed to go over at 27 feet and 60 mile an hour winds tonight. So I guess the river is probably at flood stage now (22 feet)

Looked up the Fern Bridge on the Eel river and see that it has a history of flooding. Hope you and your parents stay OK.

Thank you. Definitely say a prayer. Our pug Doxi stayed the night at the vet because of the weather (45 minutes away) and dad will head up and get her first thing in the morning. Then head over to Ferndale. Most likely he will stay at the ranch. From what I heard the easy back way in may be flooded and that leaves going all the way into Rio Dell and heading up Monument and going over the Bear River ridge.
