Guy wins gun...emails AFTER asking if the pics on the auction are accurate, turns UGLY
I swear, there are some people out there who are just ready to fight….can't get enough of it. They are the type to argue non stop from the time their eyes open and keep it up until their head hits the pillow.
I get a random email asking if the pictures show the gun's details because the description states it is in good shape and has "no abuse or neglect". I tell him the pictures ARE going to be exactly what the gun looks like (its typically better than the pics show because of the harsh lighting and macro images make every flaw stand out.) I then tell him not to bid if he doesn't like what he sees.
He tells me he WON the gun and we could just part ways and he wouldn't leave me a bad review. I tell him non paying bidders are not allowed to leave reviews and if he thinks they'll let him leave me feedback because something he bought is exactly what the 40 detailed images show he is nuts.
He tells me he is going to pay, but plans to get a lawyer because of my "fraud". He then pointed out my "horrible Google reviews"….there are FIVE. Seriously, five goobers left me (McKayco) a review on Google because their complaints were found invalid on GB. We have nearly 18,000 feedback here…I think my averages are fantastic.
Its a used $300 S&W revolver with no huge flaws, a few honest use marks, the crane is discolored, but overall really decent condition. We made a whopping $30 on this, so its really not worth all the headache…..but I'm not letting it go because I feel like this guy needs someone to do a little push back from time to time. He can't just bully his way through life and make everyone around him miserable.
Its so rare to have someone like this pop up…..I'd say 99.999% of the users are FANTASTIC, but that one rare moron can frustrate the mess out of you.

Dealing with the public can be a lot of fun……. I am glad I am retired ! You are correct in your assessment, there are folks out there that just want to argue and whine. AND maybe should get new glasses before bidding on items.🙃

Wrap it up in a couple of Walmart bags inside a Sketchers shoe box, taped with Harbor Freight duct tape. Give him something to gripe about!!!
