    We render ours down for pies, never tried frying one, explain how to.

    If you like fried pumpkin try tempura kabocha with tentsuyu. You get the sweet from the kabocha and the salty from the tentsuyu (mostly soy sauce and skip the grated daikon). I wonder if battered pumpkin would be good or as the same as kabocha?

    Wife told me she is going to make "real" pumpkin pie in the next day or so we have some pumpkins to gut and get ready LOL

    We Never had fried pumpkin will pass on the suggestion

    Fry it, or bake it like you would any other squash. We cut the rind off before frying.
