Is there a law when all federal votes must be counted per a date ,don't know why the house votes still are not done

In this day and age, unless there is a recount, you would think all results should be in by now. The Feds say the states have until Dec 11 to certify the results, so I guess some states don't put an emphasis on speed. Bob

The final count doesn't get announced until the vote counters have the votes they want (or create them) to make the outcome the way they want.
