By monetizing the forum they have given it a reason to exist. 'tis but a small nuisance to insure we continue to habitate this little corner of cyberspace.

I disagree, I personally think that it's a major PITA to be hit on by a damned commercial with every touch of a key. It's everywhere you go.
GREED is an ugly thing.
The forum already has a reason to exist, it's members. When anyone ask a meber about buying guns, where do we reccomend they go? When folk ask a member where to get accessories, where do we send them?
I just get sick of the constant bombardment of pop up ads, not just here but everywhere.
The Forum used to be sort of a sanctuary (for me at least) now that's gone.

Ads appear only if you allow them. Blocking is easy.
But since none of the complainers have said what kind of device they use, what OS, what browser, or anything else - I can't help them with how.

I mostly use my IPhone11 when on the forms. Any suggestions will be appreciated. I think these new pop ups suck myself, but I understand that they got to explore all avenues to pay the bills.
