Like so many other stories even now,
every day countless people and kids disappear with no trace or explanation
at least they have a good idea of her demise .

don’t know where they ended up, but years ago, I stood on the last place they were seen on the ground. The runway in Lae, Papua New Guinea, even have picture of the brass plaque about her on the small monolith there. Standing there, one could almost envision the Electra becoming airborne heading out over the Huon gulf, unknowingly to disappear into history.
