Went to Sam's Club today, so many pallets of TP and water both. No shortages here.

Funny…. since toilet paper is almost all made in North America.

Panic buying going here. It's just ridiculous.

Been buying in bulk from A for a few years, heard it may happen and so ordered some today, about the same price I've been paying and I keep 4-6 months on hand so was a few weeks from when I would have ordered anyway.

That stuff is useless in a flood. We have plenty in the desert. We do keep more on hand since covid. Corn cobs are scarce here.

Hedog beat me to it. Always got the corn cobs. Since sweet corn is almost done. Should have saved all those cobs 🤣😃

When the women in my family use toilet paper, the spinning roll sounds like a P-51 spooling up.

Never seen one person go thru as much tp as my wife . If they sound like a p-51 at jimdeeres ,mine sounds like a f15 strike eagle in afterburner

We went to town today to buy canned vegetables and combine parts. Walmart had an ample supply of TP, canned food, and everything else-no empty shelves. We brought home approximately $80 worth of canned peas, corn, beans, and carrots plus a few odds and ends.

This is our 'normal' plan to stock up before winter and we'll likely make another similar buy next month that will fully stock our pantry. When the snow is keister deep, we won't be going anywhere.

Yeah but the East Coast "makers" are under water. Unless you want the wet wipes. I'm sure they got warehouses full of that.

Oh, when Larry said there is going to be a shortage……I ran down and bought a stash. I knew the minute social media got wind that people were planning on being short on TP everyone would go nuts.

We go through a pack of 4 per day some days here….there are 6 of us (counting the working team)….speaking of woman and their usage, I'll admit the main problem here is ME.

Locust Fork - 4 packs or 4 rolls? Either case that's a lot. At that rate you might be better off with a garden hose and leaf blower. No wonder we got deforestation. I'm sure Georgia/Pacific loves folks like youse. Say are you gonna make your employees bring their own rolls? Last panic did you ration squares or go the fast food to use their facility and then steal their rolls? I forget where I was where their stalls had GIANT roll of tp. Like a roulette wheel.

Ditch-Runner - Last pack? Bad time to be that low. A few hundred rolls? Did you stack all that in the spare bedroom?

I'll hit up Walmart later today to pick up some Berryman I'll check out the paper isle.

As I was told when I was in the army, it only takes two squares of toilet paper,, 1 to wipe and 1 to check.

We buy 2 packs at a time. When we are down to a half pack, we buy 2 more. Though I'd rather not run out, I'm not too afraid of running out at home. The shower still works. LOL

Those who "wad" the paper use a lot more than needed. Instead, tear off six squares, fold over, then fold over again. You have a pad four layers thick and large enough to do the job. Repeat if you are fastidious.

How do you fold a 4 inch square 4 times? For use?

    carefully.

An old boss of mine that was an ex military guy told me how they were told.

Take one square and poke a hole in it. Stick your finger through it and wipe. Then, use the surrounding paper to wiper your finger. 🤣

    Don't kill the messenger. LOL

    ........or eating.

Many years ago........it was said that convicted thieves, in the near east countries, would die of hunger.
