It's Tween, here. Tween yard mowing and wood stove feeding.

Tween only lasts a couple of weeks.

First winter cold front arrived last night. Yesterday's high at 3 pm was 82. Currently same time and 48. Half inch of rain overnight. Snow likely tonight.

Got most of the yard work done yesterday, including the winter lawn fertilizer. Took down the last hummingbird feeder. Should see winter birds like juncos soon.

Done mowing here, got sprinklers blown out last week.

Cranked up thermostat to take chill off. Temp outside has dropped to 38 since OP.

Got some snow in the hills here too. Time to dust off the .410 Wingmaster and go find some grouse.

Well we had about 48 hours of under 75 for the high and in the 40's for the low, but it is supposed to be back in the 90's by Tuesday after a high of 78 this afternoon… no furnace turned on yet, but the AC has gotten a break…

Southeast Missouri had frost as well Tuesday and Wednesday night. Needed it bad. Too many leaves still green and on the trees. Need them off before November 16th.

We have had several frosts and pretty cold night temps here in Michigan. This weekend it is going to get up to the mid 70's with lots of sunshine and beautiful Fall tree colors.

"Can I still say "Indian Summer" or have the libs changed it yet?

Native American Summer. I can assure you no sales tax for Indians in Michigan has everyone digging up their ancestors.

Winter has arrived for us also. 29 degrees the other morning. Highs are still getting to mid 50’s.

23° and a heavy frost last night. Snow's on the way. Guess I'd better get the blower lubed up and ready.

I need to run mower and weed wacker out of gas. Put stable in riding mower, and gas the snow blower.
