Free live chickens
A poultry company in Minnesota quit supplying feed to its producers in Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin. The farmers are desperate to not waste the birds so they are begging folks to come take as many as they can.
They are giving them away but would appreciate any donations toward the feed bill they racked up.
I read on Facebook that they are down to about 50,000 birds remaining.

I wouldn't drive that far to pick them up but I'm guessing I could get them 'processed' on a share basis at one of the Amish places not far away.

Last post I saw indicated that all chickens had been distributed so they won't go to waste.
