Selling vintage ammo out of New York?
I'd like to sell some vintage ammo yet I live in NY. where the laws are rather convoluted and inarticulate at best, as to whether I can do so, at least online with vintage ammo. Anyone out here know if I can legally sell it here? Or just simply get away with it if it's not OK?

I don't know what the rules are for New York….but if you are shipping ammo to any buyer you will need to use FedEx or UPS, and put the black triangle "ORMD" on the box. I'm guessing if you sell it to another state, ship it properly you will not have any issues.

Pretty sure no one here is going to tell you how to break the law in NY.

New York law dictates that every ammo sale requires a record check. If you know someone that needs it leave it where they can find it.

Not sure where you live, but if close to bordering state, sell and mail it from bordering state. That way you’re not making the sale in NY.

Yeahhh, I think that still would cause you a lot of unwanted trouble. You're still a resident of NY, where the sale generated.
lets not explore how we can skirt the law, and post it here.
