Value of a couple 38-55 barrels.
I have a couple 38-55 barrels I'm planning on listing and was hoping I could get some opinions on their value.
First one is a Stevens. Octagonal 30" excellent finish but looks refinished. Bore is frosty with some light pitting.
Second one is a Winchester. Round 20" bit of freckling and some gouge marks near the rear. Bore is shiny with a little pitting.

From my experience with selling used barrels, these will sell. There we'll be someone out there who will want them. I would myself start them out at 20-25.00 each an let it roll. List it for 14 days . Good luck.

If there is any writing on the barrels that would help to see what they might be worth.
