I described this as appearing to be parkerizing and stainless steel if anyone knows for sure I will add to the text to clarify.

Good description and great price. Now you have me watching it. These are GREAT shotguns, and you can get so much for them.

Well as I said in GD it is marincote... Now I have seen some that have a nickel plating on the reciever but the whole reciever should be covered and the fact that you can see metal on that one tells me the finish was removed in that area... I maybe wrong but not an uncommon practice on a value gun.
