I see NOS describing guns or parts ...What does thi smean ! Thanks

  New old stock. In other words: leftovers.

  New Old Stock, which is a carry over form the car collectors who are always looking for brand new tail light bezels for a 1963 Corvette or some other hard to find item. NOS should be brand new items in factory packaging or wrapping which for some reason were never sold at retail. This is the kind of stuff you'll find when a gun shop closes and someone buys up the inventory.
