Sig P220 grips and screws question

I have a Sig P220 .45 that I just put new Hogue grips on. When I tighten the grip screws down securely they stick through the grip frame to far for the magazine to go in. When I back them out a bit, it works fine. These screws already seem very short but are there other screws that I need? or some sort of washer? Thanks

  Use the lock washer that is with your stock grips.
  They are probably stuck in the holes.
