What type scope for my FTop AR?

I am going to purchase a scope for my flat top AR. I plan on using it to shoot competitions at distances from 100yd to 600yd. I already shoot high power so I know a little about the sport. Any advise? I have $900 in the budget.

  a $900 Burris. What twist barrel does it have and what load are you using. Has nothing to do with the scope, just curious.
