Another Value Question For The Experts
S&W Model 36-2. Stainless finish, wood grip. 38 special. 5 Shot.
Has a slight turn ring on the cylinder and she needs a normal cleaning but other than that its a great shooter in great condition.
What would fair market value be on this ?

No such thing; M36 only came in carbon steel (blue or nickel).
"Great" is not specific enough. You will either have to post photos, or check the GB completed auctions.

Are you sure that it is not nickel? If stainless then it has to be a M-60. 0 -
Ill take some pictures. I thought it was stainless but to be 100% honest, i dont know much about finishes.
Ill have pictures up in a few minutes.0 -
On the hinge that opens with the cylinder it says 916, the serial is BBT43**. The Cylinder appears to have an N on it. The frame clearly says 36-2 though.

Nickel finish. Check closed auctions for recent sold Model 36 prices. Probably in the $300 to $350 range. 0 -
