    have recently aquired a Belgium made sweet 16 and would like to try and date it, 4S then ser# 19794..any help is greatly appreciated

    I still can not tell the year from brownings site???? What I get would make this like 1926 but it cant be that old.

    Your gun was manufactured in 1955. Value depends on original condition (stock not cut, no butt pad, open choke such as IC versus Full, vent rib or not). With pictures the experts could give you a pretty accurate value. Or go to the auction side and look at completed auctions to evaluate sold prices compared to your gun.
