    Jorge:

If you slide out the trigger at the same time as the rebound-slide, no need for special tools.

For installation, you can use a small screw driver to compress the spring over the post. Also..

..If you have an M1 carbine trigger spring installation tool, it will work in the same fashion.

    Best, Joe

Excellent idea. I'll try it out.

Edit: As Joe suggested, I removed the hammer, and tapped on the trigger from the other side. It, along with the rebound slide, came out without need for special tools.

I've not used a tool for removing, I just slip a small nail into the open end of the rebound and lift, then remove the trigger itself - of course the spring pops out but I hold pretty tight up against the opening and stop it from "boinging" across the room. Just my habit, found it easier than removing the trigger under pressure and dealing with the hand in its forward position at the same time. The PITA part comes in re-inserting, especially the softer (but longer) 12 or 13 lb Wolff springs. I just cut a slot in a small piece of copper tubing to slip past the post and seat the spring.

Much as I'd like to think otherwise, swearing louder doen't help. [:(]
