Shipping a handgun question

If you ship a handgun does it have to be FFL to FFL and next day air?

  A non licensee can ship a handgun to a dealer (except to NY State) and use UPS or FedEx. Both of those carriers demand air shipping for handguns as a part of their shipping policy, non licensee or otherwise. FFL dealers can use the US Mail for shipping handguns but non licensees can not.

  FFL Dealer to FFL Dealer can go by U S Postal Service at substantial savings over commercial carriers.
