Feenix, fore-end cap?
Howdy Feenix,
Just read your post on the Rem 700 BDL, "... fore-end cap that acts as a recoil buffer"
Could you explain how this works?
Thanks,

L[:p]L! Oops, it should have been ...
BDLs have a unique fore-end cap, pistol grip cap, and black butt plate or recoil pad (in magnum calibers) that acts as a recoil buffer.
Thanks!

Feenix,
Ah, thank you for the reply. Heck, for days now, you had me scratching my head, so hard it nearly finished the job on my fastly receding hairline, haha!
Somewheres, some time ago, I'd heard about some kind of rod or such impliment used in conjuction with a fore-cap to reduce recoil. But for life of, could not recall anything else about it, much less having to do with the Rem 700 BDL.
Thanks again. We can put this one to rest, then. And I'll go pick up a fresh supply of Rogaine. [:D]
