glock 30 frame cracked/damaged?
Bought a New Glock 30. Disassembled, inspected, and what not before taking to the range. Unloaded 75 to 100 rounds. Returned home. Cleaned. Returned to range a couple days later. 75 to 100 rounds. Returned home. Cleaned.
Then noticed this. Maybe its been this way the whole time. Maybe not. Possible lower frame crack? Looks weird. Like its cracked. For the other side is not like that...any one have pictures they can post of theirs or confirm this is normal.
If not will be a couple weeks before I can return to dealer.
Borrowed a friends camera in hopes to obtain a clear photo of area in question.

I would contact Glock. I would e-mail them and send them the pictures. Make sure you include the serial number, when and where you purchased it. Contact your authorized Glock dealer and find out who their regional sales rep is and see if youc an get their e-mail address.
In my experience Glock has been fantastic to deal with on warranty issues.
I would not shoot it anymore until you resolve the matter. You were using factory ammo?0 -
pitbud5,
I looked at both of ours and you should have Glock replace it.
There seems to be a Glock certified armorer every where I look, so show it to one and try to have Glock pay for shipping AND expedited return.
The plastic did not flow to all voids and that is their fault, ask for
a extra mag for your inconvenience.
After you get it back, a lone wolf barrel is worth the money.
