type 2 japanese paratrooper rifle WWII

any help on where to find what various markings mean- ( production, factory, ect) Looked on net an alot of dead ends. Would post pictures if knew how. gun has mum - aircraft sight - an all parts match as far as i can tell. Any help would be nice. thanks mike
