Extracting Photos from Sony memory card?
We have some wedding photos on a memory card that did not work when we tried to load them when I married my wife. On our getaway this past week end we decided we'd look into extracting them.
Was told by a photo lab the card was probably just old and that Sony could extrct them for a fee. I was wondering if anyone has any better ideas before we go that rout.
It's a Sony memory stick Pro Duo 1gb MagicGate card and it up set the wife pretty good at the time.

Have you tried uploading them with another computer?
Have you checked with the wedding photographer? The professionals usually record on a memory card PLUS they record on a hard drive simultaneously. The images may also be on the original processor's website.

I use the same type of scan disc on my computer. Its easy if you have the software in your computer. You also need an adaptor if you are using a Dell computer like I am. 0 -
Some forensics software can probably recover all/most of 'em if the partition/file allocation info is messed up. Download Backtrack Linux and see what it can do for you. 0
