Winchester Model 94 "Finger Lever pin stop screw"
I bought a 94 that had scope rings which I didn't want on it. Took them off and had to buy the original screws to fill the holes. 2 of which are named for what they are. Screws to plug holes for an added sight. The 3rd is the Finger Lever pin stop screw.
I'm just curious as what it's function is? Doesn't seem to effect function with or without it. Is there anything I should know when installing it?

this is like a cover screw for the pin. it keeps the pin from working out..thus keeps it in place 0 -

just to note; there are 2 different sizes (pre '64, and post '64). 0 -
I already have it and installed. Thanks. 0 -
Two different length screws for the later model top eject 94's. The short one holds the pin in place and fills the hole where a side mount scope base fastens on. The long one also holds the pin in and also is used to hold that base on. 0
