Remove citori extractor
Is it diffucult to remove the exctactor from a browning Citori? The set of barrel inserts I have require this so the different gauge extractors can be used with each subgauge tube.

Never done it but they are after all part of the barrel set. Has to be easier then disassemble of the receiver. I would think any quality insert company would also include Directions on how to remove the original and install their extractor. 0 -
If I remember correctly, there is a retaining screw located by looking in the small hole towards the front of the extractor. Insert a small flat blade screwdriver and remove it. The extractor will be free to be removed by pulling it to the rear. 0 -
Be 100% sure that the extractors has to be removed. The subguage tubes that I have used in my Brownings have always just aligned with the orginal extractors--that is what makes them function. I'm just trying to be of help--you likely already know all I have told you!!! Good luck.. 0 -
These tubes have no extractor on them and different ones need to be inserted for each different guage tube. 0
