Would it be possible or reasonable to
expect a Bushmaster XM-15 E2S factory iron sights to zero at sixty yards? I'm thinkin' that's just too close since the back one is adjusted all the way.

Is the front sight not adjustable like a real AR? 0 -
You should be adjusting the front sight for elevation when zeroing. 0 -
For zeroing it's rear sight for windage, front for elevation.
Those elevation increments on the rear sight are for range/distance adjustments once the rifle has been properly zeroed.0 -
