FS2000 Bull Pup
Has anyone shot the FS2000 Bull Pup and what did you think of it?

I have handled one, and fred one. Part of the problem, with most bullpup rifles, is that the trigger has a nong, sloppy linkage, from the rear of the gun, where the trigger group resides, to about midship, to where the trigger lever is. On the FS 200, there are a lot of nice features, like use of common magazines, several sight/accessory rails, front ejection, etc. However, these are mostly negated by the spongy Glock-like trigger on this rifle. If that could be changed, I would own one in a heartbeat.

The few that i fired felt weird. And not in a bulpup kind of way. I've got an MSAR (Steyr AUG clone) that i've fired thousands of rounds through, and like the bullpup. Just he way the grips felt was weird. However, from what i hear they do function very reliably. In spite of what the cartridges are going through to go from the mag, to the chamber, and eventually out of the gun. Just too complex of a system for me to totally trust. Must my two cents. 0 -

I shoot one often and like it. I have the flat top with the factory back up sights (which stink), mounted an Aimpoint on top, and it's very comfortable. Very well balanced and seems to be liked by people that dislike heavy rifles because of the balance point. 0 -
A funny, bulky, looking duck if I ever saw one; fugly.
I don't care to get that close to the noise.
A single shot action, firing a long range cartridge like the 6.5 Grendel through a 28"+ barrel could make a nice outfit.
An electric trigger would avoid linkage lost motion problems.
A suppressor where legal would still keep the outfit reasonably short.0
