WTK Legality putting folding stock on New MINI 14

Iv'e got one of the new Ranch Rifles with the 16" barrel. Does anyone know if it will be long enough with an original Mini 14 factory folding stock on it?

  Yes, ok under federal law, but your state/local laws my forbid it.

  As always, check your state/local rules, or if in doubt, call a state DOJ type person for a ruling. There are so many different laws across the country one may be good here where I am, but not good where you are.
