Let's see, you say: "Belgian made Comblain"

    I don't understand ?

I Thought Columbia was in Central America ?
    Or in your words, "Comblain"

If you know, the MODEL / Make / Or other info,
    can you reply ?

I Know it is a Military, RB, CF, BP, cartridge firearm.
Proof marks, not known, (looks like old British)

If you know, Thanks for your info.

If you do not know, thanks for looking,
but keep your, "guesses' to yourself.

    Apology owed? [;)][:D]

Actually, the country in South America is Colombia, not Columbia. But, that aside, no he didn't mean Colombia he meant what he wrote, "Comblain". As far as unwelcome guesses, too bad. Sometimes a few educated guesses is all you'll get. But, investigating those guesses will frequently let you eliminate all but one and, voila, you have the answer.

You may not have intended to be rude, but I'm afraid it came across that way. In essence, you walked up to a bunch of willing friendly gun guys and said "What is this? If you aren't totally certain don't guess. Just shut up." Intentional or not, that chafes a bit.

Columbia is in South America , but what does that have to do with this thread , or the price of eggs in China ( which is in Asia , by the way )

Thank you for the partial information.

    The gun is not a,
    Belgian Comblain,
    or a: Brazilian Comblain,
    or a: Chilean Comblain.

It is, 'like' those, but not the same.
It is closest to the Brazilian Comblain,
Yet it has features described to both the Chilean & Brazilian.
    Examining the photos I provided,
and the photos on the web sites provided,
    clearly shows this)

But it is not the same.
It has NO Belgium Proof marks, and is not,
nor can I find any evidence of it being marked,
On the top forward of the side plate,
or the breach of the barrel, (top & sides)
Or the hammer, or rear sight,
or lanyard / sling (or lack of) attachment.
    And many more small items.
As in any of the photos of the web sites that were provided.

    If, 'cbyerly' would have said:
    "It looks like a xxxx"
That would be a different story.

The statement that it, 'is', 'a particular' gun
    is a guess.
The facts are, it is, 'like' that gun.

However I do appreciate being pointed in the right direction.
That is what I was asking.

    Now I know the, 'style'.
    The rest will be research.

At this point in time, my, 'guess' is,
it was made after, the Liege made gun,
from a gun that was reversed engineered,
and made in a S. or C. America country.

The butt stock has been replaced,
and the for end cut down,
    and no barrel bands

There obviously are marks on the octagon breech portion of barrel in the photo you linked, but they are too small to see clearly, especially those on upper left and right flats. Perhaps a clear closeup would lead to a more specific identification?
