Arisaka Stock Sets
Anyone know who makes replacement stocks for the Arisakas?
Need one for a Type 99 and one for a Type 38.

Dont know of any repops being produced,,could be cost prohibitive.? IMHO, look here and they do come up,(originals),and keep it period dated,,,not being a smartazz or anything, just saying. 0 -

They changes their minds after sales went south and now "ok" to sell barrels and mags 10 rounds or less...amazing. 0 -
There were some being produced a few years back. But I don't know if they still are or recall who was making them. Got some feelers out on it.
Most Arisaka enthusiasts frown on them for a serious restoration. Arisaka stocks had arsenal stamps that Id'd the Arsenal. And the type/color of stock finish can ID the series.
To do a correct restoration, one needs to find the correct arsenal and series finish. Serious collectors will spot a repro or incorrect job a mile away.0 -
I am not really looking to see these as collector pieces. Figured if I can fir them
up decently and then decide what I will do with them.
The Type 99, someone butchered the stock trying to sporterise it.

Reportedly Numrich Arms had some Repro's. Also Randy Murray at murraygunstocks.com. Not cheap. $200. a set. 0 -
i have t-38 stock. it has numerous dents
and scratches and is rather dark with dirt and oil. HOWEVER, it is intact without splits or real damage. price is $100 ashipped to lower 48.
