did you find the info i posted about SS pins ? was it helpful ?

to all others who use anything but SS pins, are you planning on changing to SS pins ? trust me folks, i have tried everything imaginal for cleaning brass cases, even ground up coconut shells.

BTW, the SS pins CAN NOT be used in a vibrator cleaner.., just will not work, ya gotta tumble, tumble, TUMBLE [:D]

  No, I am not planning on changing for 3 reasons.
  
  1. Initial cost outlay.
  2. I don't care if the inside of my case is clean, or even if the outside is shiny; so long as it is free of dirt, oil, etc. that's all I care about. I'm just not that picky.
  3. Playing with buckets of wet steel pins and cases and having to dry them is more work than I want.
  
  Now if I were a commercial reloader looking to process a lot of fired range brass, I'd be on it in a heartbeat.

  When I started reloading, I used a pillowcase with 2 pounds of uncooked rice along with all my dirty brass, and put it in the dryer for about 1/2 an hour on noheat fluff. Worked great till I got a small hole in the pillowcase.
  Nowadays, I use shattered pecan shells because I can get literally TONS of them free.

  Has anyone tried the new sonic cleaners? If they work as well as advertised I would think it is the simplest, quickest, and quietest solution available. Also should work for cleaning revolver cylinders and auto pistol slides. I intend to buy one but would like to hear experiences of those who have them first.

  I bought a Hornady "lock n Load" - it works just ok. kinda like watching paint dry though, and doesn't hold many cases.
