    They don't say what happens when you press only one of the two triggers. Since it has only one slide, will the recoil of just one cartridge be sufficient to work the slide? Will that eject the good unfired cartridge in the other barrel? Can you imagine trying to clear a jam in one side while the other has a good round? What about clearing a stove pipe on one side while simultaneously clearing a double feed on the other?

    That grip looks like it would be as ergonomic as a 4X4. Double the recoil to boot.

    If I understand this correctly, you "should" be able to fire one round at a time from either barrel selectively "if" you can work the respective trigger.

    I don't have all the answers here, but I would hope the pistol was designed so that the two sides can effectively operate individually.

    Obviously, the gun is a novelty. Its something like a "concept car", its more about creating buzz, getting people to go "that's cool" and talk about the car and company than actually drive on the street.

    Along those lines, nobody "should" (or likely would) actually pick this thing for a real combat/defense application over a more conventional pistol.

    Again, I think of this as more of a conversation piece than anything else, but being Devil's advocate, both rounds will come out "close enough", I think. The ad copy claims the gun will put all the shots from a 16 round magazine an "orange" sized group at 15 yards; lets call that 4 inches.

    A 4" group at 15 yards from 2 - 230 grain .45 ACP rounds might not be particularly impressive accuracy-wise, but I assure you, you wouldn't want it patterned on your chest! Its also, realistically, probably better accuracy than you're going to get than with many of the small pocket autos.

    I found that it is true, about trying for simultaneous discharges with a double gun. When I was young, I tried to replicate the Hollywood stuff, like 'giving both barrels' from a side-by-side shotgun. I used a 12-ga. I could never get both barrels to go off at exactly the same time, so I could never get overlapping patterns. Even when both barrels sounded like one shot, at 20 feet one pattern would be at the point of aim and the other one would be about 2 feet above it. So a 'belt-buckle hold' might work at about 20 feet, but no more than.

    I had also read that some Old-West character used to stick a dime into a crack in a fence post, and split a .45 bullet on it. I tried that, too. The bullet simply blew the dime through the fence post, leaving one big ragged hole (and presumably leaving a large wad of wood, lead, and silver, somewhere, LOL).

    Well it is a joke but they really are manufacturing this thing... I can only speculate it's gimmick popularity but with so many inherent mechanical problems & dangers I do not see this being a top seller...
