ruger 44 auto carbine question

got a older ruger 44 carbine. need to know a couple of things if possible. first, year of manu. serial# is 100-27205. next is what kind of sling originally came with these. has original narrow swivels, guessing a slim leather sling? thanks for any help.

  Made in 1971. Swivels likley added by some one.

  thanks for the date, but did find out that these are original swivels. dont look like nothing that ruger would do but a expert that i know said they are? maybe ill send you pics. he could be wrong but ive seen others with the same ones? this is an rs model if that helps.

  redman: I have a Ruger 44 MAG carbine since forever. I love it! A caution! Do not use lead bullets. It will plug up gas tube and turn it into a single shot after 2 rounds. Jacketed loads only!

  I have one with a factory receiver sight and slings that I bought in 1972. Good gun.

  The RS model came with sling swivels. It did not come with a sling.

  My '71 44 Carbine came with a skinny sling,
  swivels and peepsite.
  I guess they call it the deluxe model.
