Is a Beretta 96D Conversion possible ????
First - Does anyone know if a Beretta 96D can be converted to be a SA/DA pistol instead of being just a DAO.
Second - If a converted to a SA/DA is even possible, can it be done without a whole lot of trouble or parts replacement besides possibly just changing out the slide and the hammer? Would any other other other small parts need changing if this possible?
Any constructive ideas or suggestions will be appreciated. [:)]
If you experts say "it aint possible" unless I am talking reinventing the wheel from the ground up so to speak, I'll just let this idea go.

The hammer and mabey the sear would have to be changed. No need to mess with the slide. Hammers are about $18, sear $12 from Brownells. 0
