Robinson M96 barrel diameter
Can anyone tell me what the barrel diameter is on the Robinson M96 Expeditionary Rifle? I have one, but I can't get to it for a few days, and need to know the dimension for a bipod bushing I'm having made.
I need the diameter of the barrel just behind the muzzle threads.

I have one at home and can measure & post later today. I did have the barrel shortened - replaced the integral brake with a thread on, but am pretty sure the 96 barrel is not tapered at all. I'll post what I find. 0 -

Thank you much, this will help me out a lot! I'm pretty sure the barrel has a constant diameter from the gas block forward. I really hope it's at or under .625".

Just got in.
The barrel has no taper. The barrel diameter as measured by my trusty Lyman calipers is ...... .615"
BTW, it took me only about 7 hrs to answer. In Robinson Arms customer service terms that's an almost instant response. [;)]0 -

And yes, you are light years ahead of RobArm on the CS tip......they pretty much suck.0 -
