Savage actions

Does Savage still sell just their actions? I was wanting a WSM action but seems like buying a rifle to take barrel and stock off is a waste. But it seems at times you can find a model 16(SS) action fairly inexpensive. Its for a hunting rig, just want it my way.

Edit: I usually check auction side, but maybe I'm in the wrong area. I check rifle parts savage wsm and don't get much. I love my 7mm SAUM, but want a Savage action instead of a Model 7

  Savage WSM actions are of different dimensions than the standard actions. So just any old Savage short action is not going to work nor will it be valued the same.

  Did you happen to check the Gunbroker Auctions? There are usually at least a few over there for sale. Savage does sell the standard short actions alone:

  But this doesn't include the WSM (Model 10) version that I can see.
