Browning A-5 12 Ga (Japan) choke tubes

I have recently purchased 3, made in Japan, Browning A-5s, and specifically bought them because they had the screw-in choke tubes. The strange thing is that they all use different tubes. I understand that the old barrels use standard vector tubes, and the back bores use the invector plus. The third has Briley, and it is completely different from the other two. Old barrel or back bored? Is this kosher or has someone had a gunsmith bore it out for the choke system? The Briley tube is very thin, and is barely noticeable when installed. It also requires a Remington wrench to get it out, the Browning doesn't fit. Very Weird!

  Briley not only just makes choke tubes, they have a full service gunsmithing operation, that specializes in shotguns. If it has Briley choke tubes, that do not match anything else, it is most likely an early Briley pattern. Do the choke tubes have a part number etched on them? You could call Briley and ask also...very nice folks to talk with there.

  The tube has the Briley name and beneath has S-1VX SKT. It is obviously a Skeet tube, but in a 32' barrel, that is also a little unusual. Looked like a goose gun to me. Thanks, I'll call Briley.

  Skeet tubes work very well with LARGE steel shot.

  I have Briley choke tubes in my 12ga A5.
  I was told that I had a bbl with thin walls
  and the best place to send it was "Briley".
