Finish on your Chinese Inglis might not be original. They were Pakerized (gray color) when they were shipped over to China. When they reimported and sold as surplus in the 80's & 90's. Some were quite worn finish wise and might have subsequently been reblued. This would affect collectors value.

I have a mixed Chinese contract Inglis with reblued slide and reParkerized frame.
For a few more bucks I could have chosen a matching no P35 but you can't pocket 20-20 hindsight. It was for some experimental work I did in the '70s so mixed s/n's didn't matter.
Over time,I was able to replace the rear sight, slidestop and safety with new Inglis parts from Canada.
This is a very nice shooting pistol that handles any handload as well as a 41 Action Express conversion kit.
