I have this on the way, No. 2432, stock marked "943" and bottom tang marked "943 XX".
Older rifle with early breech-block and oct-top receiver.
The barrel is a Niedner .22-Hornet that I feel was not put on by Mr. Niedner. If not then I'll move it to another action I have and make this a shooter, most likley .32-40 with an after market barrel.
It would be interesting to know what the original caliber was.
